This is an extremely desirable mutation and very unique form of Colocasia. The adult leaves produce dark and drastic veining that give the vibe of a beautiful Pharaoh’s Mask, the petioles and veins are very dark almost black in appearance. When juveniles the plant have the same coloration but still lack the drastic texture contrast until they grow a little more. These plants prefer to grow with large quantities of light and water, they even can be grown at the edge of ponds or simply using the water tray method. They also appreciate generous portions of fertilizer once a month.
