It produces beautiful star shaped red flowers on rare occasions but mainly reproduces producing new plants  from it’s roots. \u003cem\u003eDrosera adelae\u003c\/em\u003e is unusual in the sense that in can grow in shadier conditions than other carnivorous plants so it can be easily grown as a houseplant in a windowsill or even in bright indirect light. Like all sundews the leaves are covered in sticky glands that trap and suffocate prey, mainly small flies and mosquitoes, that it uses to absorb nutrients.
